Biography
I completed my Bachelor's in Computer Science from Habib University, Karachi, Pakistan. I have a double minor in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. I am currently a machine learning engineer at Farmevo, an agri-tech startup implementing precision agriculture in Pakistan. I am also serving as a research intern at Xu Lab, Carnegie Mellon University.
Previously, I attended the Wolfram Summer School 2023 at Bentley University working on 3D Human pose estimation. I contributed as a Research Intern at Empathic Computing Lab, University of Auckland, New Zealand. I volunteered as a Section Leader in Code in Place 2023 at Stanford University to teach students from across the world Python programming. I am also an open-source contributor of Cloud COPASI - a cloud-based computational tool for systems biology.
My research interests lie in the general area of Computer Vision and Machine Learning. A few things that interest me in the domain include Generative AI, 3D reconstruction and human activity recognition. I also enjoy reading up on theoretical computer science and algorithms.
